Can an invalid Will be validated?

A written expression of what you want done with your estate after you die, even if it’s just a computer file, can be validated or “cured” as your Will even if it has not been properly signed and witnessed.

There is a requirement that an executor search where a deceased might have kept an expression of their testamentary wishes, including their computer, to ensure that the last such expression is put before the court for probate even if there is a valid will.
