Six years ago I was in a car accident that changed my life forever. I injured my back in the accident and after I had been off work for a few months I started suffering with depression and PTSD as well. I couldn’t work and ICBC was treating me horribly. They completely stopped paying for my treatments and therapy, and they stopped providing me with supplementary income so I was completely lost. I started looking for a lawyer. I had consult after consult and no one seemed to understand what I was going through. I remembered reading Paul Hergott’s articles in the local newspaper and knew I wanted to meet him. I booked my consult. From the moment I walked into Hergott Law I knew I wanted them to represent me. Everyone treated me with utmost respect and actually listened to my story.

The last six years has been very challenging and at times I almost gave up thinking that “ICBC had won” yet again. How could little me take on such a big organization and expect to be compensated fairly? Paul and the team at Hergott Law, helped me to never give up and keep my head up. They supported me and had my back when I thought I would never be able to move on again. I am happy to say that yesterday my case was officially settled and I  received my final settlement payment. A weight has been lifted off my shoulder and I am free again. A new chapter in my life can finally begin. And it’s all thanks to Paul and his truly amazing team at Hergott Law. None of this would have been possible without them. I admire the work they do and am so appreciative of everything they have done to support me along this journey to recovery. Words cannot express how truly grateful I am to have had their support  and guidance when I was in dire need. Thank you Paul, Jill, Alena and all the great staff at Hergott Law!!
